Your key accuracy now follows you everywhere
Only Practice used to track which keys you fumble. Races and the Daily Challenge count now too, all pooled into one picture — and your profile shows it: your overall accuracy across every key you've pressed, plus the three keys giving you the most trouble. Free for everyone. Each key remembers your most recent presses rather than everything you've ever typed, so the number moves as you improve instead of being anchored to how you typed months ago.
Per-letter accuracy now counts every key you press
The per-letter heatmap only looked at each word once you'd finished it — so if you mistyped a key, backspaced and fixed it, that mistake was never counted. Keys you kept fumbling could still show a perfect score. Every keypress is now counted as it happens, including the ones you correct, so the heatmap finally points at the keys actually slowing you down.
Start your heatmap over
There's now a Reset button under the per-letter keyboard. It clears only your letter-by-letter history — your WPM records, session history and streak all stay exactly where they are. Handy if your old numbers were collected before the accuracy fix above.
A cursor that matches the track
The mouse pointer is now the Blade runner shape — gold as you move around, mint over anything you can click. Prefer your normal one? Settings → Pointer → System turns it off.
Not a prototype anymore
Dropped the "Prototype" label site-wide — Keyclasher's out of prototype phase for good.
Find us off the track
We're now on Discord, Telegram, Instagram, and X — links live in the footer. Discord's the best place to find a race and swap invite codes.
A navigation bar that actually navigates
Rebuilt the top bar: real links to every page, a Ctrl/Cmd+K search for everything else, a cleaner account menu, and a bottom nav bar on phones. Sign-in errors are also readable now instead of showing raw error codes.
See who finishes first
The race stage now shows a live finish-order board and plays a finish animation for each racer the moment they cross the line — no more waiting for everyone to see who actually won.
Leave Race, and instant rematches
Added a proper Leave Race button, and once everyone in a multiplayer race finishes, a new race starts automatically instead of leaving you staring at the results screen.
Multiplayer disconnect bug fixed
Changing your skin mid-lobby used to disconnect everyone from the race. Fixed — and equipped skins now actually show up for your opponents instead of falling back to a plain color.
Daily Challenge is live
One shared race text for everyone, every day, with its own leaderboard and a streak counter for showing up daily.
Shareable race result cards
Every finished race now generates an image card with your name, flag, and result — built for sharing, not just for you to look at alone.
Pick your vibe
Added visual themes — Neon, Space, Monaco, and Synthwave. Neon players can also set their own accent and cursor color.
Forgot password? Fixed.
Added a proper password reset flow — locked out of your account no longer means locked out for good.
Podium bug fixed
Fixed a bug where the results podium could rank a slower ghost above you even when you actually won the race.
The Skins Shop is live
22 skins across Classic, Elemental, and Brain Rot, with live preview on the real track. The 8 Brain Rot skins now have fully animated characters instead of plain color blobs.
